The Helix Dance Project, founded in 2003 by Artistic Director Linda Garneau, hit the stage to rave reviews with its first production Integration (Fall '03). Directed and choreographed by Linda Garneau, Integration featured 15 versatile and passionate performers who fused various art forms and served it up with courage and integrity. The company then went on to peform for various festivals and were repeat guest artists on the Toronto 1 show.
Helix was founded with the desire to create a new voice in the jazz community and offer work to aspiring and professional dancers. Seeing the need for an on-going monthly event, The Milk and Honey Series was created as an outlet for performers to do what they love best. For more info please see our Milk and Honey page. |
